Anton Bakerjian, RA, NCARB
BAD office is a multidisciplinary design studio solving novel problems through beautiful, sustainable work. We operate at the intersection of art and logic, building physical and digital experiences that are as responsible as they are remarkable.
At the helm of BAD is Anton,a registered architect whose 15+ years of experience span projects across the globe. He views design as a practical tool for solving problems, applying a sharp focus on functionality and efficiency to both commercial and residential spaces. Ultimately, his goal is to elevate the everyday—creating environments that simply work better for the people who use them.
Born and raised in Jerusalem, Palestine, Anton moved to the United States for high school and university procuring his M-Arch at the University of Kentucky. In his early career, Anton later returned to Asia and lived in China for 3 years. These cross-cultural experiences inform his design perspective, allowing him to draw from a wide range of influences and develop solutions that move beyond the conventional.
For Anton, architecture is inseparable from its place and its people. He draws deeply from vernacular methods, believing that beauty is not merely ornamental but structural to longevity. To him, a truly beautiful building is inherently sustainable because when we love a place, we preserve it.
